Your Daily Mile Message #29

CRU MAHONEY

Just as you can look back in disappointment on a long period of accomplishing nothing, you can look back with gratitude on a library of days where you decided to improve in every measure of your capability. Both of those options are well within your control but it takes an understanding of the impact of an individual day, to choose the latter. When you really care about consistency and improvement, all people will say is “can’t you just skip a day,” “can’t you just do it later?” And the answer is no, because the task at hand isn’t what matters. It’s the sentiment of showing up for yourself and that never deserves a day off.
