It’s not the people that have humbled themselves through years and years of self-improvement that look down upon others for not being just like them. It’s weak-willed people with a bitter view of those that are putting in the effort to maximize the life they’re so lucky to have. It’s basically a cliche that every extraordinary person is seen as a fool until their eventual success leaves no room for misunderstanding.
