Contrary to a common belief in my intention, a pursuit in solitude doesn’t mean solitude is the goal but how can you build the best relationships with other people if the relationship with yourself isn’t top of the line? There are times in life to share all of who you are to the people you love but there’s also the time it takes to build the capacity in yourself to be able to do so. It takes immense self-reflection and growth through times of hardship to find that respect for yourself and that doesn’t happen in a crowd.
