Hiding from the truth doesn't change the truth

If you want to make no progress as an individual, remain distracted from what’s really going on with you and you’ll be right where you wanna be.
 

You see most people have this fear of their own mind, a fear of the situations they’ve got themselves into and the response is to hide the truth so they don’t have to bear responsibility. But the most successful people in this world are never distracted from the details of their own life because they know that in order to improve, you have to be present with your faults.
 

I’d encourage you to know your own mind, understand your relationships at a fundamental level, have awareness of every dollar you spend and make. Because to try and hide yourself from the truth, does nothing to change the truth.
