Why are you trying to be more settling to other people? To only provide comfort as a result of who you are is denying the complexity of your real personality and that’s not fair to either side.

As weird as it may sound, I love to be unsettling to people because it means my unfiltered approach to life is, at a minimum, making them think. A lot of people tire of asking questions. The pursuit of self discovery starts to slow over time and the ideologies start to harden.

We have a choice with those around us and we can choose to feed the delusion of a stagnant mentality or we can elect to be a potential source of growth. So present who you really are because it just might do something for someone else.
