Why is it seemingly so rare

to find the people that seek to learn from the present moment

instead of doing everything they can to distract themselves from it?

So often, you see the people that can’t seem to do anything

without putting on the headphones and blocking out the world around them

and it makes me wonder how we’ve drifted so far

past understanding the value of absorbing what’s going on around you and learning through observing simplicity.

It’s crazy that someone being able to hold an intentional conversation

or being content in observing the present, is impressive

but I guess that shows you how easy it is to stand out these days.
