It’s a painful decision to choose nothing over something in the moment in exchange for your future self having what you really want.
And it feels like a gamble… it really does.
Because the proof that what you really want will be your reality, is non-existent. And if you wonder why most people don’t truly get what they want out of life, it’s because facing that very feeling is often too much to bear. The self-belief that’s required to accept isolation and fear of missing out in the hopes that one day the dream comes true, it’s pretty significant.
But I’ll tell you this…
to be the person with that willingness, to be the one that can digest the pain and keep moving until the ideal is found… for that person the ideal isn’t so much of a gamble.
