This 30-day challenge will change your life
A daily decision to make every day more meaningful...

Could you sit down to eat a meal without getting on your phone?
I can understand that this would actually be difficult for a lot of people but I think we need to change that…
Back before phones were an extension of the human hand, books and newspapers were the common form of active distraction.
If you were at the cafe or on the train, you’d probably see a lot of people reading OR just sitting there.
Yep, just sitting there.
Now, I would try to compare this to the modern day use of the phone except there’s one major difference…
There’s no default of doing nothing because the scrolling IS the nothing.
As a society, I think we’ve become afraid of the undistracted, quiet moments because along with that comes a prompt to think about the following scary things:
responsibility
purpose
the past
the future
one’s own thoughts
If you didn’t catch the sarcasm in the italicized “scary,” allow me to explain that fear comes from what we don’t know.
When someone refuses to spend time in the silence, they never get the chance to become familiar with their thoughts which is the only reason they’re scary in the first place.
So, for all you high-octane, ultra-productive folks, this one might hurt…
Doing nothing is ultra-productive if you’re proactive about using the nothingness (space) as a vehicle to clarity.
To put it simply:
Give yourself time to do nothing but think, and eventually you erase the fear of having no distractions (this is a superpower in today’s world).
With all of that said, I have a challenge for you…
30 days of the No-Phone Dinner.
This practice is simple yet extremely powerful for a few reasons:
enhances focus
demystifies quiet moments
emphasizes presence (with yourself or others)
improves awareness
promotes attention to detail
And yes… this all comes from basically doing nothing.
I want to invite you to join the challenge and become a better version of yourself over the next 30 days as you practice the art of creating space.
Click here to sign up for $1 and access the promise app where you’ll be able to track your own consistency and see how you stack up against the rest of the leaderboard.
30 days starts on August 1st…
Can’t wait to see you there!
