Cru’s Letter

When it feels impossible to change, that means you’ve probably tried everything.

And maybe you’ve tried everything EXCEPT for what’s going to work but the “solution” is never so simple.

Surely you’ve watched every youtube video on how to “fix” yourself. Surely you’ve followed every great instagram influencer and followed all the steps to be successful but you’re still the same person and more importantly, you FEEL like the same person…

If you’re afraid of yourself, do you think that’d magically go away if you made more money or got your dream physique? Not unless your pursuit of those things happened at the identity level.

You see, change doesn’t feel impossible because it actually is. It feels impossible because your identity is so strong and will do absolutely anything to prove itself right.

You’ve tried everything and nothing has worked so now you feel like a broken person that is a lost cause. Thing is, despite how uncomfortable it is to feel broken, it’d be even more uncomfortable to lose your identity on the way to feeling better.

Your struggle is familiar. You’re in a relationship with it and you don’t want to break up because it’s more comfortable to stay.

This is where most people remain paralyzed.

I have a lot of conversations with people that claim they want to change but only a small percentage are actually ready.

The change that most folks are ready for is to dip their toe in another quick fix that’ll end up disappointing them but hey, at least the identity gets to live another day…

Change requires a real gut check and you already know that without me telling you but the mind can do some pretty funny rationalization, so let me reming you.

There’s a pit in your stomach that you can’t let control you.

When you reach that point in your life where change is no longer a desire, it’s a need…

You know where to find me.
